How you’ll make an impact…
Part of the Xero family, Xero Tax is a cutting edge piece of software that is very much ahead of the curve when it comes to Tax software and some way ahead of their competitors. As a Developer for Xero Tax you will be joining a small, dynamic and collaborative team and will be actively involved in shaping the software’s future as well as furthering your skills under the guidance of our senior developers, and benefiting from the flexibility remote working brings.
You will undertake software application development of new or improved features and its associated service delivery systems; developing software that is very much plugging a much needed gap for our clients
You will achieve this through working with Analysts and Designers on the design, prototyping and preparation of software specifications and interaction designs for product features, and developing reliable, high quality software that meets the requirements of the agreed specifications and complying with Xero’s formal and informal development team standards and procedures.
What you’ll bring…
You will have experience and a passion for producing robust high quality design-led software using a
wide range of internet based technologies.
You will have a minimum of 2 years experience in .Net software development and any exposure to Full-Stack development including developing in web-based applications would be highly advantageous.
You will have a passion for all things coding and development and a desire to learn new things from colleagues and off your own volition.
Experience in a number of the following technologies: React, C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, HTML, SQL Server and Angular are key and any knowledge or experience of XBRL would be highly advantageous.
This role is remote and you can be based anywhere in t
he UK, but the team meet twice a month in the London office and so you should take this travel in to consideration.
The role is accompanied by a salary of £35,000 – £40,000
