Job Description

Kraft Heinz is investing heavily in its eCommerce Growth globally. To support this growth, we are seeking a Program Manager, who will own both the IT strategy for various platforms as well as its implementation globally.

Our current eCommerce infrastructure as it stands today comprises of Digital Asset Management (DAM) – Open Text, Product Information Management (PIM) – Digital Shelf Capabilities Providers, and other eCommerce & product data application platforms.  Our aspirations in this space requires us to build upon these early successes and scale our tools, data and processes globally. This role will also work with several upstream and downstream systems like our proprietary Recipe Management System, one-off direct-to-consumer platforms built on Skava, SAP and other data platforms as needed.

Ensure the integrity, availability, and security for all eCommerce systems. Work closely with eCommerce Business leaders, understanding short and long term business goals, defining, architecting, and executing eCommerce development plans required to fulfill the company’s business and technology strategies. Understand the importance of Product Information, Content, Data Workflow & Automation in building competitive advantage in the eComm space.  Ensure industry leading support by ensuring focus on quality technical design, quality assurance testing, and high availability.

The key responsibilities include:

  • Establish the IT strategy and multi-year roadmap in partnership with eCommerce business partners to mature the strategy in different countries
  • Globally implement and roll-out Digital Asset Management (DAM) using the Open Text platform, Product Information Management (PIM) using the Salsify Platform, and others such as Clavis
  • Enable build/buy/partner decisions for various solutions that may be applicable for a given initiative
  • Manage projects using Agile approach, write user stories (in partnership with relevant business product owner), create, requirements, and ensure those are completely delivered and tracked via our Jira environment
  • Clearly establishing Project Plans, milestones, stakeholders, and manage change through the Kraft Heinz organization
  • Assess, evaluate, select third-party vendors through the Kraft Heinz RFP process
  • Lead teams in development, implementation, and support of the e-commerce systems and processes
  • Provides leadership to development projects that create and continuously improve the functionality, reliability, scalability, and security of the company’s eCommerce applications and systems
  • Defines roles of stakeholders and manages interdependencies; identifies “at-risk” projects and resolves problems
  • Oversees the technical design, architectural framework, and day-to-day operational procedures for all eCommerce systems/technology/infrastructure
  • Serve as a business partner by developing trusted and open relationships with key eCommerce business and IT partners at Director and VP level
  • Owns all interactions with internal and external auditors regarding eCommerce security, IT controls and privacy issues
  • Conducts capacity monitoring and planning of the eCommerce environment to ensure appropriate acquisition of IT infrastructure and resources to stay well ahead of channel growth in all of its dimensions – traffic, customer acquisition, conversion, order volume, etc.
  • Develops eCommerce expense and capital budgets and manages within those budgets

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS/BA Degree in Information Technology or a related field of study
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years of Tech Program Management Experience
  • Experience managing Agile Development Projects / Applications
  • Application & data integration development experience in SQL & Python
  • Experience working in Cloud environments – Google (GCP), Big Query & Azure preferred
  • Experience working with complex data environment with an understanding of data structure
  • Experience with data visualization tools & development – Tableau preferred
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to set priorities & focus on roadblocks that hinder delivery
  • Possess collaborative and influencing skills appropriate for working with project sponsors and stakeholders
  • Experience managing small to medium size onshore and offshore project teams
  • Ability to meet deadlines with a passion and desire to succeed
  • Possess critical thinking skills, quantitative and analytical problem-solving skills
