Job Details:
We are looking for a meticulous digital project manager to join our customer-focused marketing team. As the digital project manager, you will manage the migration of one of the largest consumer sports websites in the country that reaches over 11MM people annually.
NCSA is a dynamic and growing company and we need our website to be able to grow with us. The NCSA site has millions of visitors monthly and provides an opportunity to work at the highest professional level. This is a new in-house role for our company, and much needed as we face complex technical challenges moving our website to modern infrastructure and design. You will be a key decision maker in the underlying technical strategies and work with a mix of contractors and in-house developers to implement the work.
NCSASPORTS.ORG is one of the larger consumers facing websites in Chicago with over 2MM pages and 11MM unique visitors a year. We are coming off of a year where we saw 50% YoY organic growth and we need to update our web infrastructure to maintain the growth.
The digital project manager will report to the Marketing Manager and also work closely with the VP of Marketing, VP of Engineering, Senior Web Developer and other business leaders providing structure and clear communication on critical projects.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage the process for migrating our website from multiple legacy Content Management Systems (CMS) to a single WordPress CMS
- Manage, coordinate and lead day-to-day website projects from inception to launch
- Partner with content creation, design, development, SEO, and QC teams at different phases of the project to deliver the highest quality finished product
- Mitigation of scope creep, communicating potential project risks to management and website stakeholders, and following proper project change request procedures as needed
- Track all bugs and manage resolution
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in related field
- 3+ years of experience in a significant website project management role
- Experience with WordPress
- Experience with digital marketing best practices (SEO, analytics, conversion rate optimization, etc.)
- Website migration experience a significant plus
- Self-motivated and takes initiative
- Positive attitude and great communicator; able to build rapport with team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, nimble environment
- Experience with JIRA, (or similar project management software) preferred
