Paraşüt is an Istanbul-based startup developing a cloud bookkeeping software to empower small businesses in Turkey. We have been named as Webrazzi’s #1 SaaS startup 7 years in a row. We pride ourselves on being a vital part of the lives of 30k small businesses. Very recently, we joined Mikro Yazılım and Zirve Yazılım under DST Technology, a holding company funded by Turkven & Earlybird.
The Head of Sales role oversees a sales organization (30+ people) currently composed of two subteams. Our insides sales team is responsible for the calling and converting of qualified leads. Our channel sales team is responsible for building relationships with and providing solutions to CPAs. As sales, we want to reach out to all 2 million small businesses and 90k CPAs in Turkey that can potentially benefit from our software.
What you will do;
- Work with the CEO, inside and channel sales teams to shape strategy & targets
- Lead, manage and develop team members towards high performance
- Improve sales processes, metrics & best practices
- Determine resource needs and organizational structure
- Work with marketing team on lead generation
- Work with product & support teams on customer feedbacks
- Work with other group companies to develop & execute joint distribution strategies
- Explore new distribution channels and business partnerships
- Keep intelligence on competitors, regulatory changes, and other market developments to incorporate into sales strategy
What we are looking for;
- 10+ years of sales experience.
- Successfully led inside sales people who are calling and converting new deals in high pressured, fast sales cycles.
- Sales experience in B2B, IT/software/technology, and/or telco.
- Metric driven. Has ability to identify critical success metrics. Can implement a sales process that is focused on the right metrics. Can break a problem down numerically. Can analyze, interpret and communicate data.
- Startup person. Open minded and continuously learning. Can roll up sleeves and get in the kitchen. Can adapt to a growing and changing work environment.
