Overview

👋 HEJ! (Swedish for Hi)

In IKEA, we are looking for several passionate engineers who are excited about technology and innovative ways of working and want to be a part of shaping the future of IKEA!

You may know IKEA from the furniture we sell, but there is much more happening in the background. Our vision of “creating a better everyday life for the many people” needs to be supported by amazing software systems, and we would like to ask if you want to be a part of this.

ABOUT REWARDS & LOYALTY

In our domain, we want to enable a digital experience for the biggest loyalty program in the world today – IKEA Family and its over 100 million members worldwide. We are currently piloting the first iteration in one country, but we aim to roll out to all countries which Group Digital is serving in the future. Our responsibilities include:

• Build a program that guides customers through their whole journey
• Integrate transactional and interactional touchpoints
• Align with markets and upstream dependencies
• Setting high engineering standards which ensure that the systems we build are highly secure, scalable, and resilient
• Experimenting with new technologies, taking a data driven approach to continuous improvement

To achieve this, we have built a solid MVP which we are gathering insights on today and want to make iterations on with the teams which we depend on to deliver our scope.

Our team is cross-functional and set up for end-to-end ownership and autonomy (except for the systems / platforms which we depend on). In this role, you will report to an engineering manager in the Loyalty capability area. The Amsterdam office in the Netherlands will be your home location.
