AdColony the world’s premium mobile video ad network and an innovation leader in HD mobile video advertising are looking for a talented Software Engineer to join our team!
As a Front-end Engineer on the Ad Unit team, you will be responsible for working closely with our designers and account managers to create world-class ad experiences for well-known brands. You will be using our proprietary JavaScript frameworks that are designed for rapid creation of ad units.
What You Need To Have:
  • Bachelor’s degree computer science or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Turkish and ENGLISH (must).
  • Strong knowledge in HTML5, RESTful API, Node.js, ES6, JavaScript (AJAX, OOP, MVVM)
  • Experience with modern Front End Dev Ops (NPM, WebPack, Gulp, Babel, etc)
  • Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets
  • Knowledge in memory DB such as MongoDB is a plus
  • Knowledge in other web programming language such as React, VUE, Typescript, Angular is a plus
  • Knowledge in SaaS or enterprise software project development is plus
  • Knowledge of more than one programming language
  • Drive. You work collaboratively to relentlessly improve our products, quality, and processes and know how to implement changes.
  • Willing and able to take on complex projects and tasks independently
  • Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, design and coding skills required
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Knowledge in software life cycle and agile methodologies is required
  • Stay up-to-date on emerging technologies
  • Good knowledge of version control systems e.g. Git;
  • Experience in optimizing for page performance
  • Ability to write clean and semantical front-end code;
  • Should be good at teamwork and taking responsibility
  • Should be open for learningn and developing in new technologies
Nice to have:
  • Personal/hobby projects or large scope school projects
  • Hobby or industry 2D video game experience
